​I am asked all of the time..."how much should we plan to spend for our trip".  

It's such a great question and really can only be answered after we chat and explore your travel ideas.  However I am providing a chart that cites high level pricing - per person per day - for travel by region.   Note that this is a quick estimate and each country within the region will have different ranges depending on when, where, and how you wish to travel which we will  narrow down in the itinerary process. 

This quick chart gives you an idea of your expected travel investment most typically for shorter stays. Longer stays tend to be more cost effective.

tipping etiquette around the world

How much is the "right" amount? ​

​A subject of much discussion is tipping when travelling. Here is a handy little infographic provided by Good Housekeeping Magazine that provides insights.

As noted by Travel + Leisure while we are used to tipping in Western Countries; it is often different where we travel to so it's good to be informed so that you can feel absolutely comfortable with the decision to tip. For instance in many parts of China tipping is unexpected however as with other trends making their way across the world that too is starting to change.

In come countries - France for one - service compris on your bill means that the tip has already been included.  In Italy a few Euros left on the table are appreciated however if coperto - meaning cover charge - is on the bill then again, the tip is included.  Amsterdam restaurants include a service charge however many visitors still leave 5 to 10% as a thank you.

When it comes to other types of services, spa therapists, hair stylists,  concierges and guides the recommendation is 10 to 15% on a global scale.
