This itinerary was designed as 10 day, self guided road trip for a family of four to Southern Alberta.

Day 1
Fly from Ontario to Calgary, Alberta | Pick up pre-reserved rental car at Airport | Drive to hotel and get settled in | Walk through the neighbourhood where the hotel is located | Enjoy dinner at one of my recommended restaurants | Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening

Day 2
Leisurely breakfast | Check out the Instagram Map I provided for Calgary  | Identify those places you are interested in seeing | Lunch | Select from one of the attractions provided in your Guide | Enjoy dinner at one of my recommended restaurants | Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening

Day 3
Leisurely breakfast |Head out for another day of sightseeing | Stop to enjoy coffee at one of the recommendations | Enjoy Stephen Avenue Walk | Lunch | Visit with friends | Dinner & evening at leisure

Day 4
Leisurely breakfast | Depart Calgary | Stop along the way at one of my Craft Brewery recommendations | ​Enjoy the drive to Banff National Park | Check into your accommodation | Take a walk to orient yourself to the neighbourhood |  Choose one of my restaurant recommendations for dinner |  Evening at leisure

Day 5
Leisurely breakfast | Pack up refreshments and head out on one of the recommended hiking trails| Enjoy the scenery and nature | Lunch | Choose one of the recommended sightseeing activities  |  Choose one of my restaurant recommendations for dinner |  Evening at leisure

Day 6
Early breakfast | Head out to the Columbia Icefields| Meet your guide for your tour| Lunch | Choose one of the recommended sightseeing activities  |  Enjoy dinner at a recommendation |  Evening at leisure

Day 7
Leisurely breakfast | Depart Banff | Arrive Lake Louise | Get settled into your accommodation | Grab a snack | Select a recommended sightseeing activity | Afternoon and evening at leisure

Day 8
Leisurely breakfast | Depart Lake Louise | Arrive Jasper | Get settled into your accommodation | Choose a recommended spot for lunch | Pack refreshments for a light hike at one of my recommended trails | Dine at one of my recommendations | Evening at leisure

Day 9
Depart Jasper | Arrive Edmonton | Get settled into your accommodation | Arrange to meet friends at one of my recommended distilleries | Afternoon and evening at leisure

Day 10
Leisurely breakfast at one of my recommendations | Head to Elk Island for a day explore & hike | Lunch and visit at  the Ukranian Heritage Village on the return to Edmonton  | Afternoon and evening at leisure  | Check in for your flight 

Day 10
Early breakfast  | Return car to Airport | Fly back home | End of tour
